Privacy Policy

VoiceMailr ("the app") helps you turn spoken notes into email messages. This policy explains what data the app processes, how it is used, and what choices you have.

In short: your notes are sent through your own device's Mail app, using your own email account. VoiceMailr does not operate an email server and does not receive a copy of your messages.

What the app processes

Voice input — captured only while you are actively recording, and used solely to produce a text transcript.
Transcribed text — the content of your note, generated from your voice input.
Recipient email addresses — the destinations you configure in Settings, stored on your device.
App preferences — your chosen language, note type, and default sending flow.
Installation identifier — a randomly generated identifier created on first launch, used only for rate limiting the optional AI feature. It is not linked to your identity and is removed when you delete the app.

VoiceMailr does not collect location data, contacts, browsing history, or any data unrelated to its core function. It does not use data for advertising or tracking.

How your data is handled

Transcription

Voice-to-text conversion uses Apple's Speech framework. Depending on your device and system settings, this may be processed on-device or through Apple's speech recognition service, governed by Apple's own privacy practices.

Email delivery

VoiceMailr prepares your note and hands it to the system Mail composer on your device. You review and confirm the message, and it is sent from your own email account through your own email provider. The app does not transmit your note to any email delivery service operated by the developer, and no copy of the message content is stored on any server controlled by the developer.

AI subject line generation (optional, off by default)

If you explicitly enable this feature, a portion of your transcript (approximately 1,000 tokens, roughly 3,500 characters) is sent to a Cloudflare Worker, which uses Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a short subject line. The excerpt is used only to produce that subject line and is not retained after the response is returned. This feature is disabled unless you turn it on, and it can be turned off again at any time in Settings.

Data storage and retention

Recent notes, recipient addresses, and preferences are stored locally on your device. They remain there until you delete them, delete the app, or a future version changes this behavior with clear notice. The developer does not maintain a server-side database of your notes.

Third parties

Apple — speech recognition (Speech framework) and the system Mail composer
Your own email provider — delivers the message you send from the Mail app
Cloudflare — hosts the optional subject-line Worker; used only if you enable the AI feature

Your data is not sold or shared with advertisers.

Your rights

You can view, edit, or delete your recipient addresses, notes, and preferences at any time from within the app. Deleting the app removes locally stored data from your device. For any other request regarding your data, contact us at burak@siskon.com.tr.

Children's privacy

VoiceMailr is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date above.

KVKK Kapsamında Bilgilendirme

6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu ("KVKK") kapsamında, VoiceMailr uygulaması aracılığıyla işlenen kişisel veriler yalnızca aşağıdaki amaçlarla işlenir:

Kullanıcının sesli notunu metne dönüştürmek,
E-posta içeriğini hazırlamak ve sistem Mail ekranı üzerinden kullanıcının onayına sunmak,
Kullanıcının uygulama içi tercihlerini (dil, not türü, alıcı adresleri) cihazda saklamak,
İsteğe bağlı yapay zekâ özelliği açıksa, konu satırı üretimi için kullanım sıklığını sınırlamak.

İşlenen veriler

Ses girdisi — yalnızca kayıt sırasında alınır, metne dönüştürme amacıyla kullanılır.
Transkript metni — notunuzun içeriği.
Alıcı e-posta adresleri — Ayarlar'da tanımladığınız adresler, cihazınızda saklanır.
Uygulama tercihleri — dil, not türü ve varsayılan gönderim akışı.
Kurulum kimliği — ilk açılışta rastgele oluşturulan bir tanımlayıcıdır; yalnızca isteğe bağlı yapay zekâ özelliğinde kullanım sınırı uygulamak için kullanılır, kimliğinizle ilişkilendirilmez ve uygulama silindiğinde ortadan kalkar.

Veri işleme yöntemi

Veri işleme elektronik ortamda gerçekleştirilir. Ses kaydı, metne dönüştürme amacıyla Apple'ın Speech altyapısı üzerinden işlenir. Hazırlanan e-posta, cihazınızdaki sistem Mail ekranına aktarılır; gönderim, sizin onayınızla kendi e-posta hesabınız ve kendi e-posta sağlayıcınız üzerinden gerçekleşir. Not içeriği, geliştirici tarafından işletilen herhangi bir e-posta altyapısına aktarılmaz ve geliştiricinin kontrolündeki hiçbir sunucuda saklanmaz.

İsteğe bağlı yapay zekâ özelliği

Bu özelliği açıkça etkinleştirmeniz hâlinde, transkriptinizin bir bölümü (yaklaşık 1.000 token, kabaca 3.500 karakter) konu satırı üretimi için bir Cloudflare Worker'a iletilir. Bu bölüm yalnızca konu satırı üretmek için kullanılır ve yanıt döndükten sonra saklanmaz. Özellik varsayılan olarak kapalıdır ve Ayarlar'dan istediğiniz zaman kapatılabilir.

Saklama süresi

Son notlar, alıcı adresleri ve tercihler; kullanıcı silene, uygulamayı kaldırana veya yeni bir sürümde farklı bir veri saklama davranışı açıkça bildirilene kadar cihazda tutulur. Sunucu tarafında kalıcı bir not veritabanı bulunmamaktadır.

Kullanıcı hakları

KVKK'nın 11. maddesi uyarınca; işlenen kişisel verileriniz hakkında bilgi talep etme, verilerinizin düzeltilmesini veya silinmesini isteme haklarına sahipsiniz. Bu haklarınızı kullanmak için burak@siskon.com.tr adresinden bize ulaşabilirsiniz.

App Store Gizlilik Beyanı

App Store Connect'te verilen gizlilik yanıtları, e-posta adreslerinin, kullanıcı tarafından oluşturulan içeriklerin ve kurulum kimliğinin yalnızca uygulamanın temel işlevleri ve isteğe bağlı yapay zekâ özelliği için işlendiğini belirtmektedir. Bu uygulama reklam veya takip amaçlı veri işlemez.
